OverCompressor is a stereo bus compressor loosely based off a Lo-Fi classic, the SP-404 vinyl sim compressor. This is not a direct clone/emulation but heavily inspired by the sound of the 404.

Controls

  • Volume: Right click to toggle between input and output volume.
  • Compression: Reverse threshold control with auto-makeup gain.
  • Noise: Added noise sample.
  • Emphasis: 5 sidechain filter curves.
  • Clip: Soft Clip (post-compression, pre-output gain).
  • Bump: Low Bump (also post-compression, pre-output gain).
